Pejman Bazeghi joins cast of ‘Selfie with Democracy’

ifilm star of ‘Factor 8’ Pejman Bazeghi has joined the cast of comedy movie ‘Selfie with Democracy’.

Bazeghi is the second star after ‘Matador’ star Poulad Kimiaee that has been taken on to appear in the new war-themed comedy directed by Ali Atshani.

Born in 1974, Pejman Bazeghi made his debut role in 'The Confession'.

Since then, he has been in a number of series and movies. 'Puberty', 'Girl in a Cage', 'The Duel', 'Unripe Pomegranates', 'The Main Target' and 'Nahid' are some of the films he has starred in.

The actor has also appeared in some series such as ‘The Seamen’, ‘My Sky’ and ‘The Man with a Thousand Faces’ all of which have been aired by ifilm.

‘Selfie with Democracy’ is about the war veterans and martyrs who sacrificed their lives during Iraq-Iran war.

According to the media, the film is the second sequel to Atshani’s 2009 comedy ‘Democracy in Broad Daylight’.

‘Selfie with Democracy’ is set to start shooting stage soon on October 02.
